About Event Registration

In order to sign-up for one of our events, you must either be a member of Capital Area Family Naturists or have completed a brief telephone interview with us. See the Join Us page for more information.

When you register for a paid event such as bowling or a sailing trip, you are making a commitment to pay. If you are unable to attend an event you have registered for, we ask that you cancel at least three days before the event or otherwise pay the amount due for that event.

Gender Balance at CAFN Events

CAFN will try to maintain a 60/40 percent gender balance in attendance at all of its events. If registration for an event exceeds that balance you may be placed on a waiting list until more members of the opposite sex sign up for that event.

June 14th – 20th - Eastern Naturist Gathering

The Naturist Society sponsors their annual Eastern Naturist Gathering at Camp Westmont in Poyntelle, Pennsylvania. See The Naturist Society website for more information.

June 19th - Potluck Cook Out

1:00pm - 6:00pm

Join us for a nude cook out while enjoying the company of other nude grill masters! Up to 10 members are invited to participate in a nude cook-out at a member's home in Marshall, Virginia. We will be grilling out, playing games and enjoying the hot tub while catching up with other members. Bring your entree of choice (meat, poultry, seafood, etc.) for the gill, and a side dish to share with others.

There is no cost for this event, but please bring something to grill, a side-dish to share, your own drinks, and of course a towel. Our hosts will provide plates, cups and silverware.

June 20th – 24th - AANR East Convention and Festival

AANR East holds its 2009 Convention and Festival at Sunny Rest Resort near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. See the AANR East website for more information.

June 26th - Game Night

6:00pm - 11:00pm

Join us for a fun evening of dinner and games to the accompaniment of lively conversation and laughter at a member's home in Abingdon, Maryland. Dinner will be at either Box Hill (home of the softball-sized crab cakes) or Festival Seafood (home of the extra large steamed shrimp and excellent cream of crab soup) before the games begin. Get out your Old Bay because you're in for a real treat!

Maximum capacity is ten people, so sign up soon. There is no fee for this event, bring along a favorite game to play, a towel to sit on, your choice of drinks, and a snack or dessert with some extra to share. Our hostess will provide paper goods.

July 5th – 11th - Nude Recreation Week

July 17th - MAHESO Nude Bull Roast

noon - 5:00pm

Join us as we visit MAHESO, in Davidsonville, Maryland, for their annual bull roast. The nice folks at MAHESO always put out an excellent spread for this event. See the MAHESO web site for cost and other details.

Reservations are required. Make your reservations before July 10 to get the best price. August 13th – August 15th - AvalonFest Music, Arts and Crafts Festival

Join us as we visit Avalon Resort for its Thirteenth Annual AvalonFest Music, Arts and Crafts Festival in Paw Paw, West Virginia. See Avalon's website for details.
